Yin & Yang Inspiration spread with Sacral and Solarplexus Chakra Meditation

As Chakras for our Yin & Yang Inspiration Spread we got Sacral Chakra for the Yin and Solarplexus Chakra for the Yang Side. For the Yin Side it is about opening for emotions and intention, the Yang Side struggles with self made barriers and overcoming them.

Yin Side

The Yin Side is about emotions and making room for them, listening to them and see them as a useful tool for information. Listen to the emotions and become clear about their messages. Then it is time for manifesting them. Intention will help the Yin Side – to focus on their wishes to come true.

Yang Side

On the Yang Side it is about anatomy and overcoming self made limits, to realize that one is free, the infinite possibilities and the potential. Its about trusting that all things will unfold on this path. The answer for the Yang lies deep in their heart. Listen to the peaceful messages that it is sending you.

Meditation Session:

Mudras

As Mudras for our Meditation I chose today:

Yin Side: Yoni Mudra, Sacral Chakra

Yang Side: Mushtika Mudra, Solarplexus Chakra

Choose the Mudra that resonates with you.

Sit down in a comfortable meditation position. It is important that you can sit comfortably for several minutes, so don’t force yourself into a position that is uncomfortable for you. Vajrasana or Sukhasana is a good seating position, but you can also meditate on a chair.
Now bring your shoulders back and rest your arms comfortably, for example on your thighs. Lower your chin. Breathe in and out. Form your hands into the according mudra:

Yoni Mudra: Place the palms of the hands together, interlock the pinky, ring and middle finger downward. Bring the thumbs towards the body, join the pads of the index fingers together to form a diamond shape. Rest the hands, the thumbs pointing to the body in front of the pelvis.

Mushtika Mudra: Curl the fingers inward in each hand, thumbs are pointing up. Bring the heels of the hands and your thumbs together. Hold your hands lightly against your abdomen.

Close your eyes.

Breathe in and out and feel how your belly is rising up and down while you are breathing.

Maybe you can also feel your breath rising in and out of your nostrils.

Focus on the according mantra for our meditation session:

Yin: I OPEN TO THE DIVINE fEMININE WITHIN ME.

yANG: mY sENSE OF POSITIVE dETERMINATION ARISES fROM WITHIN.

Be gentle with yourself, when other thoughts are coming up while meditating.

Just come back to the mantra.

Come back slowly to your presence in the room. Maybe you can hear sounds or smell certain scents.

Open your eyes.

Yin & Yang Inspiration spread dedicated to the New Moon in Capricorn with Chakra Meditation

At the beginning of next week (exactly night of January 12 / 13) we will have the first New Moon of 2021. This New Moon will be in the zodiac sign of Capricorn. It’s a great time to set goals and to create plans for building upon in the future.

So our first Yin & Yang Inspiration Spread of the new year 2021 is dedicated to our first New Moon.

Yin

The Yin side is in a process of transformation. In the past, they have compromised and withdrawn. They want to free themselves from these old burdens. They know that constantly worrying about things isn’t making it better. With full curiosity, creativity and a new approach they now set out for a new start.

Yang

The Yang Side has so far sticked to the known, this promised them security. However, they realized that they want to live an extraordinary life instead, a life that does not correspond to the standards. They have already started changes in their lifes, but are impatient because success isn’t already there. They focus on the losses that they had to accept because of these changes. Currently, they are looking into the No-Thingness and do not know whether the decisions they have made were the right ones and will lead to success.

For a short meditation session I chose following mudras for the Yin and the Yang Side:

Mudras

For the Yin Side I chose a Mudra on the topic Transformation and for the Solarplexus Chakra.

For the Yang Side I chose a Mudra on the topic of Fluidity, the flow of Life and for the Sacral Chakra.

Meditation Session:

Sit down in a comfortable meditation position. It is important that you can sit comfortably for several minutes, so don’t force yourself into a position that is uncomfortable for you. Vajrasana or Sukhasana is a good seating position, but you can also meditate on a chair.
Now bring your shoulders back and rest your arms comfortably, for example on your thighs. Lower your chin. Breathe in and out. Focus on your breath and how your belly is rising up and down while your are breathing. After a few cycles form your hands into the according mudra:

Yin: Interlace your fingers of both hands with the right thumb over the left thumb. Extend your middle fingers straight out, with the pads touching. Rest your hands on the height of the Solarplexus, just where your ribs meet.
Yang: Place the right palm over the back of the right hand, both hands are facing downwards. Extend your thumbs out to the side, the other fingers are stacked. Hold your hands with the thumbs extending away from your belly.

Now close your eyes.

Breathe in and out. Focus on your breath and how your belly is rising up and down while your are breathing.

Can you feel how your breath is coming in and out of your nostrils? Focus on the sensations that you can feel. Maybe you feel cold and warm air coming in and out of your nostrils.

Focus now on the according Mantra:

Inner light illuminates and guides me on the path.

Yin Side

Gentle waves of ease flow through my mind and body.

Yang Side

Can you feel how your breath is becoming slower and slower and also finer and finer? Can you feel how the breath is strengthening your body? And how your muscles are relaxing?

Come back into your room and feel your presence.

Slowly open your eyes again.

Yin & Yang Inspiration Spread dedicated to the Throat Chakra

Today the topic of our Yin & Yang Inspiration Spread is Communication, so I dedicated the spread to the Throat Chakra.

For the Yin Side we got the topics Freedom, living from moment to moment and to move with the flow.

Yin Side

The Yin Side is invited to open up for new adventures and experiences. It is important here to go with the flow and to stop to want to control these developments. Living from moment to moment and open the heart for new experiences, that also maybe could be totally different as one expected them to be.

For the Yang Side it is about their intuitive side.

Yang Side

The Yang Side which was focused on rational aspects until now are experiencing their intuitive side coming up. This is quite new for them and they are invited to trust their inner voice. Listen deep to your thoughts, emotions. A new vision of your life will arise that will lead you to full bliss.

We will do a short meditation today with a mudra for our throat chakra.

Mudra

The Garuda Mudra is also known as the Eagle Mudra and references to Garuda, a bird from the Hindu mythology with a mix of eagle and human features. Garuda is the vehicle of the God Vishnu, one of the most important gods and a member of the holy trinity (Brahma, Vishnu & Shiva). Garuda represents birth and heaven, and also the element air and fire.

The Garuda Mudra helps with Openness, Balance and Metabolism.

We will focus today on the following affirmation:

“I embrace the freedom and openness of my pure expression.”

Please sit down in a comfortable pose. This could be a tailor seat, knelling down on a blanket, sitting on a chair or a Lotus pose, everything is okay as long as it is comfortable for you.

Close your eyes.

Breathe in and out three times.

Focus on your belly and how it lifts up and down while you are breathing.

Feel the air that flows through your nose.

Now bring your left hand in front of the heart, your palms are facing in.

Now cross the back of your right hand behind the left palm, until your thumbs meet.

Interlace the thumbs.

Bring your hands up to the throat center.

Relax your shoulders.

Think about the sentence: I embrace the freedom and openness of my pure expression.

Breathe in and out deeply.

What are you feeling?

Stay here as long as you wish.

Yin & Yang Inspiration Spread

The topic of our Yin & Yang Inspiration Spread today is a new beginning that awaits someone. To this new beginning we should open up and enjoy.

On the Yin Side it is about laying off masks that were showed in the past.

Yin Side

Wearing these masks is now ended finally. A new beginning starts with embracing the passion and creative side and to leave old grief and sadness. This new attitude leads to the fact that the Yin Side can use and show the full potential.

On the Yang Side it its about leaving confusion and feelings of loneliness.

Yang Side

After a time of confusion and loneliness one opens oneself again to the community. It becomes clear now that the connections have to be brought back into balance and one has to meet the people. This leads to the fact that old ballast can now finally fall away and hope is created again.
