Yin & Yang Inspiration Spread dedicated to the New Moon in Aquarius

Tomorrow we will have a New Moon in Aquarius. This is a time of change and moving forward, being pragmatic but also loving. As chakras we got Heart Chakra and Root Chakra.

Yang

The Yang Side is about taking action, power and activity. A decision is needed. But is also about focusing on the present moment and not sticking in the past or thinking about the future. Your perception will change, new opportunities will show up. Have a open heart and embrace the transformational process. You are connected energetically with someone. This person is also thinking of you.

Yin

The Yin Side is about a change of perspective, stepping back to understand, exploring something. Also on this side we have a card for a energetic connection with somebody, a Soulmate. Do not let you confuse you by what is occurring around you. Things are growing in your life. A transformational process is happening. All you have to do is to do decide what you truly want and to listen to your heart.

Mudras: I chose following Mudras for a meditation session

  • Yang: Vajrapradama Mudra. Sit down in a comfortable pose. Prepare your fingers as pointed out in the picture. Hold your hands in front of your chest, your elbows rest downward.
  • Yin: Abhaya Mudra. Hold your right hand at shoulder height, your palm is facing outward. Your elbow is falling close to the waist.

Yin & Yang Inspiration Spread

Our Yin & Yang Inspiration Spread has the topic of a new cycle that begins, perhaps in a romantic issue or feeling more and thinking less could be an issue. A restart is now possible.

Yang Side

On the Yang Side we have a card for the Heart Chakra. Perhaps you are missing someone or are in the middle of a healing process. Rejuvenation is taking place, perhaps you are feeling a emotional turmoil. Feelings you thought you already dealt with are coming up. Be grateful for this process to happen instead of having fear. You will see the world around you in new ways. Speak your truth and choose your words wisely, they create your reality.

Yin Side

On the Yin Side we have a card for the Root Chakra. Do not be too hard on yourself and the people around you. Listen to your inner voice and learn to trust your vibes. Be present in the moment and ground yourself. Do not worry about the future. Release uncertainty and expectations about how miracles should come into your life. You or a situation is transforming.

Yoga Session:

Asanas

Today I chose following asanas:

  • Mountain pose: This standing asana is stimulating our Root and Sacral chakra.
  • Cat / cow flow: Relax in a cat and cow flow, do as long as you wish. These Asanas are balancing our Root, Sacral and Solarplexuschakra.
  • Staff Pose: This asana is balancing our Root, Sacral and Solarplexuschakra.
  • Heart Chakra Pose: Enjoy this asana and stay there as long as you wish. It’s activating your heart Chakra.

Yin & Yang Inspiration Spread dedicated to New Years Eve

2019 is ending, a new year begins. The topic of our last Yin & Yang Inspiration Spread in 2019 is Inner Peace.

Topic of the spread

Tranquility and inner peace will occur when you realize that your life is unfolding according to a plan. Simplify your life, spend time in nature, listen to the messages deep inside you.

Yang Side

On the Yang Side a decision is to be made. In which direction do you want to go? It’s your choice. Connecting to your inner vision and your gut feeling can help you in this matter. The making of the decision might be hard and have consequences but you will grow and be stronger after this. Connect to your inner guidance with Hridaya Mudra.

Yin Side

On Yin Side you might have the impression that a situation is repeated and you go through it again. But this time don’t forget that you learned from the last situation and that now you are able to overlook the situation in another perspective. Through making action you will find out of a cycle and can end it finally. Something you wished for a long time ago could now happen to you. But do you still want it? Accept the situation as it will happen and do not decline it. When you listen to your inner guidance you know how to act. Sakshi Mudra can help you.

Yoga Session

Asanas

Today I chose following asanas for a short yoga session:

  • Uttanasana: This forward bend stretches your back and you can connect with your inner self. Let go all the stuff and ideas you have in mind and relax. Breathe in and out. If you want you can do also some sun round of salutations here. This asana stimulates our root, sacral, Solarplexus and Crown Chakra.
  • Camel Pose: This intense back bend opens your chest and your heart. Feel free in this asana and enjoy. If this variant is too intense for you can either use a block or go down just as far as it feels good for you. This pose activates Crown, third eye, throat, heart and Solarplexuschakra.
  • Relax now in Anahatasana. This pose opens our heart Chakra. Stay a little bit in this position and breathe in and out. Throat, Sacral and Rootchakra are also active.
  • Upward Facing dog: This asana is stretching our back and you can open your chest in this asana. Sacral, Solarplexus, Heart and Throat Chakra are activated.
  • If you want you can now do a supported headstand. This inversion is balancing your crown, third eye and Throat Chakra. It’s a very refreshing and energetic asana.
  • After headstand go into child pose to relax. Enjoy this pose for a little while.
  • Reclined Hero Pose: one of my favorite asanas. This is very intense stretching for your legs. If it’s not possible for you to lay down your back on the mat you can e.g. support with a block or just sit down in the position. Also a small cushion under your button can help you sitting in this pose. It’s activating our Solarplexuschakra.
  • We end this yoga practice with Savasana. Stay in this restorative position for a few minutes. Relax and focus on your breath.

Mudras:

  • Hridaya Mudra: Sit down in a comfortable pose. Place your right hand over your heart. Place your left hand over the right hand. Relax your shoulders.
  • Sakshi Mudra: Sit down in a comfortable pose. Join the tips of your fingers together pointing upward, base your palms together. Bend your thumbs facing inward.

Yoga Inspiration Spread dedicated to the New Moon in Capricorn

Tomorrow we will have a New Moon in Capricorn. It’s a time full of energy, it’s a good moment to recapture your year and make a list of your dreams and plans for 2020.

Deep inside yourself you know the truth. Read between the lines, connect with your intuition. Perhaps you also have information that doesn’t make sense regarding the logical mind. You are invited to connect to your inner self and you will receive the answers you are seeking for.

Past

In the early past you opened for a project or topic you discovered in your inner vision, you listened to the signs you got. This project or topic fulfills you with deep passion.

Future

Two cards for Wisdom. Regarding the topic of our spread it seems that you will gain wisdom in a specific matter. Perhaps you will have to take a look beneath the surface. True love and also radical thinking are needed in this matter. What is your destiny? Dare to have your life the way you decide. Are you ready for making a sacrifice for the things or people you desire?

Unconscious

It’s unconscious to you that blessings are on it’s way. Success and growth will happen. Trust that you are protected and your way is guided. Take your stand and live your truth.

Conscious

It’s conscious to you that you are feeling more joy and happiness in your life. Embrace life with open arms and explore, do not fear the unknown and be open for your intuition and gut feeling.

Mudras

Asanas:

Today I chose following asanas for a short yoga session.

Asanas
  • Eagle Pose: This standing and balancing asana is stimulating our Root and Sacral chakra.
  • Fish Pose: This backbend and stretching asana is stimulating our Throat, third eye and crown Chakra.

Inspirational Quote from the Yogasutra

Where the heart is full of kindness which seeks no injury to another, either in act or thought or wish, this full love creates an atmosphere of harmony, whose benign power touches with healing all who come within its influence. Peace in the heart radiates peace to other hearts, even more surely than contention breeds contention.
