This weekend we will have a New Moon in the zodiac sign of Aries.

The new moon stands for new beginnings and refilling of energy for new projects. Aries is the first sign of the twelve zodiac signs and stands also for new beginnings. Aries is a fire sign and full of energy and enthusiasm. This new moon invites us to manifest our creative ideas and projects and to start a new phase full with passion and living our spirit.

Manifesting is the creative process of aligning with the energy of the universe to co-Create an Experience that elevates my spirit and the spirit of the world.

Recent past

In the recent past, you should realize that you are on the right path and that you are worthy of good things happening to you. You can fully trust your inner voice.

Future

In the future, it will be about surrounding yourself with positivity. You may have to separate yourself from people, tasks, projects, jobs etc. who/which are very negative and drag you down. Something big is waiting for you, open yourself for it and receive it with full self-confidence. Have confidence, soon everything will change for the better.

Unconsciousness

You are not yet aware that happiness and exciting challenges will soon come your way. This can then feel like a miracle or magic for you.

Consciousness

In the recent past it was about synchronicity and to bring all dimensions into balance. Joy, lightness and warmth unfolded into your life.

Future

In the future it is about healing, to taste from the central source of consciousness. One way to tap into this is to give your creativity space.

Unconsciousness

It’s unconscious that a trauma in a matter of love or relationsship made you stronger. Your heart can heal and open again, but do not give it away.

Consciousness

It’s conscious that you seek for peace within, you can feel that peace is the truth of your inner core. In silence, listen to your inner voice, it will guide you.

Each asana is an energy mandala that unfolds like a flower within you. It is not about to achieve a perfect shape, instead allow a pulsating energy to emerge within you. Embody this idea by blossoming into the postures. Start e.g. in half moon with bent legs and slowly expand. Notice how the posture slowly arises through you.

Today we have a New Moon in the sign of Pisces.

The new moon stands for new beginnings and refilling of energy for new projects. This new moon in pisces is romantic and sentimental. We feel more emotional and vulnerable to those around us. But the New Moon in Pisces is also good for our own inner healing. The imaginative and creative Pisces provides us with inspiration and ideas for new goals. The Pisces New Moon can also help us realize what we really want deep inside, and support achieving that goal.

Recent past

The recent past was about becoming aware of one’s own power and realizing that one’s own thoughts have a great influence on whether we achieve goals or not.

The future is about seeing light in the darkest corners and trusting the magical energy around you. In this way power can be regained to manifest one’s desires.

Garuda is the mount of the god Vishnu and one of the three animal deities of Hindu mythology, along with Ganesha and Hanuman. Garuda symbolizes strong power and energy.

Perhaps you are currently in the midst of a change. Open yourself and create space so that the changes can unfold.

Recent Past

The recent past has been about understanding that feelings can be very healing. Suppressing feelings is very stressful. Maybe this was also about forgiving someone or forgiving yourself for something.

Future

In the Future, it’s about getting clarity on things and really seeing them as they are. Are things really the way they seem? When I go deep inside myself what does my intuition tell me?

Unconsciousness

It wasn’t realized that time off and taking care of oneself is needed. Create space to take care of your inner self. This creates balance to be able to face the everyday challenges and the upcoming changes.

Yoga Inspiration Spread dedicated to Vrksasana

As topic for our Yoga Inspiration Spread we got today the Asana Tree Pose, finding balance, to embrace changes in life and find a place of tranquility when there is much change around you.

Find the center … and lose.

Come into tree POSE and spread your arms wide to the sides. Once you have found a stable STAND, feel your central axis, the energy channel that runs in front of and along your spine from the bottom of your pelvis to the crown of your head. It is the eye of the storm, Madhya, the center to which you can always return on the mat and in life. Close your eyes slowly, Sooner or later you will lose your balance. Meet this loss of control with serenity. Come back to the posture again and again, feel your center and close your eyes …

Also we got a card with the God Shiva which resembles here the topic of change. Shiva is known as “The Destroyer” he is part of the Hindu trinity together with Brahma and Vishnu. Shiva creates, protects and transforms the universe.

Changes in life can throw you off balance at first. However, in the midst of these changes, you can find a place of stillness to return to and find balance.

Early past

In the recent past, the topic was sincerity (Deutsch: Aufrichtigkeit). Either someone was not sincere with you or you are struggling with the issue of sincerity. You cannot expect truthfulness from others, but you yourself can be truthful. The topic of self-protection has been an issue, someone could not show himself sincerely or you yourself were not authentic because of self-proctection.

Future

It is now a matter of letting go of these feelings and negative energies and finding peace (Deutsch: Frieden) within the situation. It’s also about relaxing and stopping the thoughts that are going around in circles in your mind.

Unconsciousness

You are not yet aware that friends (Deutsch: Freundschaft) or certain people come into your life for a reason. The point is not to judge these friends or people and to come into harmony (Deutsch: Gleichgewicht) with them.

Consciousness

It is conscious that certain fears (Deutsch: Angst) prevail someone from not fully living in the energy of love and compassion.

My favorite Asanas – Part 2

Today I want to share with you six further asanas, which I love and are regularly part of my practice.

Bidalasana: This asana is often called cat / cow flow in a class. I love it especially at the beginning of a yoga class to gently warm up and bring focus into the body. This asana is also very good when you have problems with your back.

Tadasana: An absolute classic, start of sun salutations and to center yourself after standing positions. A stable stand strengthens self-confidence and also the attention to the body and our position is sharpened. Anjali Mudra on height of the chest to collect and be thankful for the practice.

Tree Pose: One of my favorite balance exercises. Being strong as a tree but still having flexibility. Balance exercises in a practice bring attention to the specific moment but also make fun.

Warrior 2: Of all the warrior positions my favorite. The position symbolizes for me strength and power but at the same time also focus and clarity. Also a very good starting point for other standing positions.

Gomukhasana: One of my favorite sitting positions. Very good for the shoulder area and even more valuable effects on the body. Opens the hips and the heart area, the spine is stretched so that the prana can flow well. And so much more, a very effective position.

Savasana: Last but not least, Savasana or the corpse position. Many say for them this is the most difficult asana. It is mainly done at the end of a yoga class for about 10 to 15 minutes and is often combined with body scan, mindful breathing or fantasy journeys.

Yoga Inspiration Spread dedicated to the Throat and Crown Chakra

Welcome to our first Yoga Inspiration Spread in 2021. As Chakras we got Throat and Crown Chakra and so our Yoga Session will focus on these two.

Topic of our Spread

Saraswati is a Hindu goddess and connected with learning and wisdom. She also is master of musical instruments and arts. Together with Lakshmi and Parvati she is part of the Tridevi which are helping the Trinity of Brahma, Shiva and Vishnu. She is the wife of Brahma and with this mother of creation. Saraswati is symbolizing creativity and higher knowledge.

I am more fulfilled when there is less to manage and maintain.

Celebrate simplicity, stop making it more complicated than necessary and let your creative spark glow.

Early past

In the early past you discovered your true talents and realized that you want to show and live them more in your life.

Future

In the future, it’s about a message you didn’t expected to come any more. This news makes you blooming again, you are more self-confident, creative and your full potential is activated.

Unconscious

It is still unconscious that one is in the middle of a transformational process and negative energies can be transformed into positive ones.

It is conscious that something has been lost and you have to release it. No longer suppressing this fact will lead to balance.

Yoga Inspiration Spread dedicated to the Winter Solstice & Twelfth Night

Yesterday we had Winter Solstice and soon Twelfth Night starts. Winter solstice is the day with the shortest period of daylight and longest night of the year. From the 24th of December until the 6th January we will have Twelfth Night, 12 holy nights between Christmas and Epiphany. The 12 days also resemble the 12 months of the year and predict in each case the events in the assigned month. It is a time of looking inward, reviewing the old year and previewing the coming year.

Enjoy this time and withdraw to your inner sanctuary. Enjoy the tranquility and harmony. This inner space is always there for you. Enjoy the lightness that surrounds you when you enter this space.

Past

In the recent past, it has been about pursuing a goal with discipline and perseverance and working with focus towards it.

Future

We are now invited in the Twelfth Nights to surrender and enjoy. Go with the flow and review the last year, have a look at your success and make space for reflecting, celebrating and drawing back instead of making plans and working with focus.

Unconscious

It is unconscious that the theme of self-love is an issue especially in relation to the physical body. Accept your body as it is, look lovingly at every part of it. Treat yourself also lovingly, through care of your hair or skin, nutrition or sports.

Consciousness

The subject of self-confidence is conscious. It became clear what your own interests and abilities are and that you want to use them. One does not want to stay any longer in situations that do not allow this.

Yoga Inspiration Spread dedicated to the Third Eye Chakra

This Yoga Inspiration Spread today is dedicated to our Third Eye Chakra and our intuition. As topic we got Presence (Deutsch: Gegenwart) and the goddess Kali.

I live in the heartbeat of the present.

My intuition flows whenever I am still.

Kali is the most powerful form of Shati. She destroys the evil in order to protect the innocent. She guides through transformation by dissolving all forms and time.

Early past

You are full of compassion for your fellows. But you also start to meet your own thoughts and desires with openness and now want to turn your dreams into reality. Allow yourself not only to dream but also to manifest them.

Future

You can achieve anything, at any time you can reinvent yourself.

Unconscious

It is still unconscious that you should no longer think about the past. Clean yourself of it to recharge your energy. Instead look at your ideas with childlike curiosity and enjoy your creativity.

Consciousness

You are aware that failure also brings a chance to learn and develop. Listen to your intuition and your inner voice, this will show you the right way.

For our Yoga Session I chose today Asanas with effect on our Third Eye Chakra.

Start with Childs Pose and focus on your forehead laying on the mat. After staying for at least 10 breaths in this pose you can do some Sun Salutations for warming up. Step by step you can also integrate Dolphins Pose into your Sun Salutations instead of Downward Dog. Afterwards stay in Prasarita Padottanasana as long as you wish. Afterward we close the session with two inversions. In Bridge Pose and Shoulder Pose also stay as long as you wish and try to concentrate on your area between your eyebrows, the Ajna Chakra. We end our Yoga Session with Shavasana.
