Right now we have a full moon in the sign of Leo. This Full Moon is specifically about the areas of creation and power. So we dedicate our Yin and Yang Inspiration Spread to this intense full moon
As a overall topic for the Yin & Yang we have beside the Full Moon in Leo, the topic courage.
Divine courage is not the absence of fear but a nudge that says: “Keep going. Do it. All will be well.” You have to get quiet enough to hear it. Dear Divine may I feel your courage and your will.
Maybe you are currently in a situation that requires courage from you. Meditate and listen to your inner voice. Trust your inner strength. You can always come to this place of inner reflection.
The Yin side is called into action so that a new reality can unfold. It is a very spiritual time. The difference between matter and the soul is recognized. Everything is interconnected and the possibilities are endless. Realize your true inner self and open yourself to it, so everything can unfold.
On the Yang side, it is about repressed feelings that have not been communicated. Healing can only happen here if one goes through the feelings again, look at them with a emotional and not intellectual approach. To be able to process and communicate these feelings, creativity and a certain flexibility is needed here how these feelings can find expression.
For our meditation session I chose the following Mudras:
Yin Side: For the Yin Side we have the Yoni Mudra. This Mudra helps to open for inner cycles, especially regarding the awakening of the Divine feminine.
I open to the divine feminine within me.
Yang Side: For the Yang Side we have Kali Mudra. This Mudra is connected to the Goddess Kali. Kali Mudra assists with releasing and spiritual purification.
I release all obstacles and align to my true nature.
Sit down in a comfortable meditation position. It is important that you can sit comfortably for several minutes, so don’t force yourself into a position that is uncomfortable for you. Vajrasana or Sukhasana is a good seating position, but you can also meditate on a chair.
Now bring your shoulders back and rest your arms comfortably, for example on your thighs. Lower your chin. Breathe in and out. Form your hands into the according mudra:
Yin Side: Place the palms of the hands together, your fingers point up. Interlock the pinky, ring and middle fingers downward. Your hands rest in front of your pelvis, the thumbs face upward.
Yang Side: Interlace the fingers of both hands in front of your heart. Bring your right thumb over your left. Extend your index fingers facing upward to your throat Center.
Close your eyes.
Breathe in and out and feel how your belly is rising up and down while you are breathing.
Maybe you can also feel your breath rising in and out of your nostrils.
Focus on your breath.
Between breathing in and out there is a short pause.
How does this pause feel? What sensations are arising in you.
Be gentle with yourself, when thoughts are coming up while meditating.
Just come back to your breath.
Come back slowly to your presence in the room. Maybe you can hear sounds or smell certain scents.
Open your eyes.
